The fitting kit allows for an easy connection of the WTC with the plastic model. It’s especially designed for the Trumpeter Kilo and most likely will not fit other models. The fitting kit also allows for a perfect alignment of the upper and lower hull.
Fitting kit for Trumpeter Kilo consists of :

- 5x ribs as the WTC mount, they also allow for perfect alignment of the upper and lower hull.
- 2x Magnetic shaft connectors (Pair joining the propeller shaft with motor shaft).
- Bow plate for locking the upper hull half.
- Aft plate for locking the upper hull half.
- WTC aft endstop.
- External rib for the Kilos bow planes pushrod (with magnetic coupler).
Still required to make the WTC operational:

Stern mechanics with magnetic couplers and magnetic clutch for the drive shaft:

Ribs for quick an easy sliding in the WTC. There is no need for straps or rubber bands to hold the WTC in place.

The included fitting kit allows for an easy connection of the WTC with the plastic model. It’s especially designed for the Trumpeter Soryu Class Attack Submarine model and most likely will not fit other models. The fitting kit also allows for a perfect alignment of the upper and lower hull.
Fitting Set for Soryu Class Attack Submarine consists of :
- 4x ribs for easy mounting the WTC
- 4x rudders for replacing the fixed Trumpeter rudders
- Stern mounting ring (necessary for X rudder system built)
- All necessary brass elements for pushrods assembly
- 2x Magnetic shaft connectors (Pair joining the propeller shaft with motor shaft).
- Magnetic pushrods
- Threaded inserts for connecting and locking the upper hull with the lower hull
- WTC stern end stop
Slightly bigger dive planes and rudders allow better model manoeuvrability!


Still required to make the WTC operational:
- RC receiver and radio transmitter with mixer.
ATTENTION: This model requires the upper hull to be cut. It’s a difficult task, BUT ONLY if you don’t have the proper tools. If you don’t have a precise handsaw, we highly recommend our cutting set, which includes a very thin hand saw (0.36mm) and a special guiding rail for it. Then the task becomes stress free and very easy. You can use this KIT for your other projects in the future too. Just ask as about the saw and rail before or after the order.


With the sharp saw and our guiding rail for it, the cut line will be almost invisible. Check yourself on the photos below:

This is a shorter version of the servo compartment module for a tube with 46mm inner diameter and 50mm outer diameter (1.8/2inches).
